CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (Nov. 1) - The Saint Vincent volleyball team was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Presidents' Athletic Conference tournament by two-time defending-champion Thomas More, 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-9).
The Bearcats started off well, winning the first two games. The Saints came back and would take the next two games to force a decisive fifth game. In that fifth game, Thomas More built a lead as large as 10-2 before SVC mounted a late rally, before dropping the game, 15-9.

Natalie Hozak led the SVC attack with 19 kills while classmate
Taylor Guido added 15 kills. Junior setter
Devin McGrath directed the Bearcat offense for 58 assists. Defensively, sophomore middle hitter
Brittany Hauser recorded six blocks in the loss.
The Bearcats fall to 21-11 on the season and will now wait and see if they receive a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament.
