GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 20) - A total of 15 Saint Vincent men's and women's swimmer have been named All-Presidents' Athletic Conference for their performance at the 2013 PAC Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Grove City.
The Bearcat women, who finished third as a team, had a nine swimmers named All-PAC, including three First Team, five Second Team and one Honorable Mention. The SVC men, the fourth-place finisher at the conference meet, boasted six total selections, highlighted by two First Team and four Second-Team honorees.
The five First-Team selections were
Zach Ligus and
Casey Whittaker from the men's team and
Katie Custer,
Mary Kate Kenna and
Alyssa Taylor for the women. The Bearcat men to honored on the Second Team were
Matt Linebaugh,
Andy Moog, Allan Sant and
Henry Signore, while
Alexis Ferraco,
Molly McCloskey,
Paige Pecora,
Sarah Robbins and
Jess Smrekar garnered Second-Team honors for the women.
Women's swimmer
Carolyn Claybrooks earned Honorable Mention All-PAC recognition from the conference.
A total of 22 school records were broken by the two teams at the conference meet, with the women's 200 freestyle relay (Ferraco, Pecora, Robbins and Custer) posting an NCAA "B"-Cut time to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championships. Additionally, Taylor recorded two B-Cut times in the 100 and 200 butterfly events.

Josh Gurekovich was named the 2013 PAC Women's Swimming Coach of the Year.
