GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 12) - Saint Vincent senior Laurence Jaross was recognized as the Men's Track Athlete of the Week by the Presidents' Athletic Conference. 

Jaross won the 800 meters Friday night at Baldwin Wallace's Mid-February Meet. His time of 1:54.95 currently sits as the 12th best among Division III competitors this indoor season. Jaross also ran the third leg of Saint Vincent's winning 4x400 relay team, which finished with a time of 3:35.05.

Jaross and his teammates return to competition with the annual PAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Youngstown State University on Thursday, Feb. 22. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
