OBERLIN, Ohio (Oct. 18)- The Saint Vincent women's cross country team earned a ninth place finish in the 25-team field at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday morning.
Grace Neubert was Saint Vincent's top finisher on the afternoon, placing sixth overall. The sophomore raced a time of 22:05.70 to lead the Bearcats at the race.Â
Lily Murphy (35th) and
Cassy Lanza (41st) came across the finish line next for Saint Vincent. Murphy crossed in a time of 23:42.20 and Lanza raced a time of 23:49.60 for the Bearcats.
Jane Huss finished in a time of 25:00.40 and
Grace Scoville crossed in a time of 25:10.30.
Isabella Snyder (25:34.40),
Lauren Schemmel (26:45.70),
Teresa Grimm (27:31), and
Emma Hyder (27:34.70) rounded out the race for the Bearcats.
Saint Vincent will take a couple of weeks off to prepare for the PAC Championship race on Saturday, November 1 at Allegheny College. The race is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. in Meadville.
