Saint Vincent senior outside hitter Luciana Polk had a big opening weekend of the 2023 season. In Friday's 3-2, season-opening victory over Penn State-Altoona, Polk recorded a career-high 24 kills - the fourth-most in a match in program history - along with 21 digs in leading SVC to the comeback win. A day later against Gallaudet, Polk went for eight kills and 16 digs, along with one service ace. Over the two matches, she averaged 4.13 kills and 4.63 digs per set.
