Saint Vincent sophomore Miranda Cincotta played a big part in the Bearcats' distance success at Youngstown State on Saturday, earning a pair of top-10 finishes with two record-breaking performances. In her first race of the weekend, Cincotta placed sixth in a 61-runner field in the 800-meter run, with a school-record time of 2:21.09, three seconds faster than the program's previous mark set in 2020 by Sydney Green.

Less than an hour later, Cincotta broke another Green record, previously set in 2022, with a time of 5:17.38 in the 1-mile run, placing sixth in a 61-runner field.
