Saint Vincent freshman Skyy Nicholls led the Bearcat women's bowling team to a 7-1 record over the weekend, which culminated in the team capturing the annual Br. Patrick Lacey, O.S.B., Memorial Tournament on Saturday at Lincoln Lanes. On Friday, the Bearcats went 2-1 in a head-to-head matchup against Daemen University, ranked No. 12 in the most recent Division II/II national poll. Nicholls fired a 191 in the opening traditional match, an 852-784 win, before she went on to average 195.0 over two Baker matches. On Saturday, Nicholls was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 192.8, the second-highest in the 70-bowler field. Her afternoon included games of 190, 210, and 223.
