Saint Vincent grad student Tim Patterson placed second overall in a field of 64 runners at the Saint Francis University Father Bede Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 31. Patterson covered the 6-kilometer course in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, in 19:07, just four seconds behind individual champion Casey Padgett of Duquesne University. Patterson helped the Bearcat men to a third-place finish in a six-team field, four of which were NCAA Division I institutions.
