SVC freshman Carolina Walters keyed a 2-0 week for Saint Vincent, going a combined 4-0 with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in PAC victories over Thiel (6-3) on Tuesday and at Geneva (7-2) on Thursday. Walters posted a 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles against Thiel’s Natalie Zgurich and partnered with Angela Popovich in an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles/ At Geneva she earned a 6-0, 6-1 win over Lauren Estes at No. 1 singles and teamed with Popovich for an 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles. Walters is 3-1 at No. 1 singles play this fall, while the Walters-Popovich pairing is 3-1 at No. 1 doubles.
