At the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship, Saint Vincent College freshman Kristen Prince finished 11th overall, in a field of 282 runners, covering the 6-kilometer course in 22 minutes, 32 seconds. With her 11th-place finish, Prince earned a spot in this weekend's NCAA Division III National Championship, scheduled for Nov. 19 at Michigan State University. Prince, who earlier this fall was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year, becomes only the second runner in program history to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championship race, and first since Ivette Mejia in 2011.Â
