The Lady Bearcat soccer team was edged 1-0 by Presidents' Athletic Conference leader Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, KY.

The Saints put pressure on the Lady Bearcat defense throughout, out-shooting Saint Vincent 24-3 for the afternoon and holding a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks, but the SVC defenders were able to limit the hosts to just one goal.

The game was scoreless for 61 minutes, before Thomas More's Megan Keck scored an unassisted tally to break the 0-0 deadlock.  

Lady Bearcat goalie Kirstie Mills was strong in the losing effort, making 10 saves, including the stop of a penalty kick in the 54th minute to keep the game scoreless. 

The loss drops SVC's overall record to 4-10-3, while the team's PAC mark falls to 3-5.  Thomas More remains unbeaten, improving to 13-0-3 overall, and 7-0 in the conference.

The Lady Bearcats return to action on Saturday evening, traveling to Beaver Falls, PA to take on Geneva College.
