The Bethany Bison scored twice in the game's opening minutes, going on to defeat the Lady Bearcats by a score of 4-0 in the teams' conference opener.

Cassie Spalding scored just 1:46 into play, then added another goal six minutes later to put the visiting Bison ahead 2-0.  Spalding completed the hat trick in the 31st minute of the first half.  All three of her goals were unassisted.

Midway through the second half, Julie Lindenfelser scored on a header off a cross from Brittany Bizila to end the scoring.

Bethany outshot Saint Vincent by a 17-11 margin in the game.

The Lady Bearcats drop to 1-6-3 with the loss, 0-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
