The Lady Bearcats and the Red Hawks of LaRoche College battled to a 1-1 tie on the SVC turf.

Neither team was able to score in the first half, but LaRoche managed to get a breakaway attempt in the 61st minute.  Bethanie Moreschi slipped behind the SVC defense and scored to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

Late in the game, with just over two minutes remaining in regulation, Fran Kovach sent a cross in front of the LaRoche net and Catherine Czapski drilled it home for the game-tying goal for the Lady Bearcats.

LaRoche then outshot Saint Vincent 8-1 in the overtime periods, but Kirstie Mills kept the visitors off the board for the tie.

On the day, Mills recorded 10 saves in the net for Saint Vincent, while LaRoche's Ralene Zajac recorded five saves.

LaRoche outshot SVC by a 23-8 margin.

With the tie, Saint Vincent is now 0-5-2 on the season while LaRoche moves to 2-3-1.
