Saint Vincent falls to Thomas More, 2-0

The Saint Vincent women's soccer team dropped a PAC contest to Thomas More, 2-0, this afternoon on the SVC Turf.

The visitors got on the board early with a goal from Courtney Clark at the 10:05-mark. Lauren Wietmarschen closed the scoring at the 47:29-mark with a goal to give the Saints the 2-0 victory.

Thomas More registered 14 shots in the match, six on goal. Saint Vincent finished with three shots, one on net from sophomore Tenesha Corrales.

Senior keeper Kirstie Mills made four saves in the contest.

With the win, Thomas More improves to 9-3, 5-0 in the PAC. Saint Vincent drops to 6-8-1 on the season, 2-4 in the PAC, with the loss.

The Bearcats return to action Saturday, Oct. 22, for a 3 pm match-up with Thiel on the SVC Turf.
