The Saint Vincent women's soccer team fell to Washington & Jefferson, 3-0, this afternoon on the SVC Turf.

The Presidents opened the scoring at the 4:32-mark on a goal by Tatum Marucci. Chrissy Marcius extended the W&J lead to 2-0 at the 63:31-mark. Holly Shipley closed out the scoring in the contest with a goal just over five minutes later, giving the Presidents the 3-0 victory.

Senior goalkeeper Kirstie Mills made four saves on the afternoon. Junior Morgan Castle and freshman Elly Colvin led the Bearcats with two shots apiece, both with one on goal. Saint Vincent tallied eight shots total, four of which were on net.

With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 5-6-1 on the season, 1-2 in the PAC.

The Presidents improve to 9-3, 3-0 in the PAC, with the victory.

Saint Vincent returns to action Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 6 pm when they travel to Waynesburg University for a PAC match.
