LATROBE (Oct. 23) - Grove City scored the game's only goal in the 82nd minute to earn a 1-0 victory over the Saint Vincent women's soccer team in Presidents' Athletic Conference action on the SVC Turf.
With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 10-6 on the season with a 3-5 mark in PAC play. Grove City, who is in fourth place in the league, improves to 13-3-1 overall and 6-2 in the conference.

Cassie Overly, and recorded the only score of the day.
On the afternoon, Grove City led in shots, 18-9, behind equal halves of 9-9. SVC recorded seven shots in the second half after posting just two in the first half. Junior
Monika Derboghossian led the team with four shots (one on goal) while classmate
Tenesha Corrales was the only other Bearcat to record multiple shots, with two.
Overly made nine saves between the pipes in the game, while playing all 90 minutes and allowing one goal.
SVC closes out the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 27, hosting Chatham at 1 p.m. in PAC action on the SVC Turf.
