WASHINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 6) - The Bearcats held a 2-1 lead through one period of play, but Washington & Jefferson rallied back to score three unanswered goals in a little over 11 minutes in the second half to defeat SVC, 4-2, in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
With the loss, the Saint Vincent women's soccer team drops to 8-3 on the season and 1-2 in PAC competition. W&J improves to 2-0-1 in the league and 6-4-1 overall.

Rebecca Sandor gave SVC the lead just under six minutes into the game when she scored off of an assist by classmate
Tenesha Corrales. W&J tied the game, 1-1, at the 13:41-mark on a penalty kick, before Corrales gave SVC the lead back in the 20th minute with an assist credited to sophomore
Abbey Neish.
W&J scored three goals in the second half, at 52:31, 54:11 and 63:52 to rally and defeat SVC.
Junior
Cassie Overly suffered the loss in goal, allowing all four goals and making three saves in 72:26. Sophomore
Kelsey Farrand played the final 17:34 and did not face a shot on goal.
The Bearcats return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 10, hosting Waynesburg in PAC play on the SVC Turf starting at 4 p.m.
