LATROBE (Sept. 14) - Junior
Tenesha Corrales scored two goals as the Saint Vincent women's soccer team blanked La Roche, 3-0, in non-conference action on the SVC Turf.
With the win, the Bearcats improve to 4-1 on the season and 4-0 against NCAA Division III opponents. La Roche falls to 1-3 this year.
Corrales opened the scoring with her first goal of the season at the 5:15-mark on a breakaway following a through ball by sophomore

After the two teams went into halftime with SVC up, 1-0, Neish found the back of the net in the 62nd minute, picking up her third goal of the season following a misplay in the box by the La Roche defender.
With just over five minutes left in regulation Corrales recorded her second goal of the game on a pass from sophomore
Ally Panzella and sophomore
Elly Colvin to put the Bearcats up, 3-0.
For the game, SVC held an 18-3 advantage on shots, while out-shooting La Roche 10-1 in the first half. Junior
Monika Derboghossian led the team with four shots (two on goal), while freshman
Emily Johns tallied three shots (one on goal).

The Bearcats return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 18, when they make the short trip down Route 30 to take on Pitt-Greensburg at 4 p.m.
