LATROBE (Sept. 18) - Four different players scored a goal as the Saint Vincent women's soccer team blanked visiting Pitt-Greensburg, 4-0, in non-conference action on the SVC Turf.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at Pitt-Greensburg, but due to rain and field conditions the contest was moved to SVC.
With the win, the Bearcats improve to 5-1 on the season and run their winning streak to five games. The Bobcats drop to 2-3-2 this year with the loss.
SVC open the scoring at the 25:34-mark when sophomore
Ally Panzella scored her first goal of the season on assists by classmate

Monika Derboghossian. Just 2:03 later, sophomore
Elly Colvin posted her first goal on the year off of a header following a corner kick by freshman
Emily Johns.
In the second half, junior
Rebecca Sandor posted her third goal of the season when her shot deflected off the crossbar and then off of a UPG defender in the box, 3-0.

Tenesha Corrales closed out the scoring in the 86th minute with her third goal of the year, which was assisted by Neish and Johns.
For the game, SVC out-shot UPG, 21-5, including 12-1 in the second half. The Bearcats also held a sizeable, 8-2, advantage in corner kicks.

Cassie Overly earned the win in net, playing the first 77:49 and making one save before giving way to sophomore
Kelsey Farrand who played the final 12:11 in her first game action this season.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, Sept. 22 when they host Juniata at 1 p.m. on the SVC Turf in one of the final tune-ups before Presidents' Athletic Conference action begins.
