LATROBE (Oct. 15) - Thomas More scored 25:56 into the game and never looked back, downing the Saint Vincent women's soccer team, 4-1, in Presidents' Athletic Conference action on the SVC Turf.

The win moves the Saints, ranked 21st in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III poll, to 10-1-2 on the season and 4-0 in the PAC. The Bearcats drop to 6-6-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the league.

TMC's Olivia Huber scored the goal that hit off the post initially, and bounced past SVC keeper Cassie Overly at 25:26 to open the scoring. It would be the first of three goals in the natural hat trick for the Saints sophomore.

She scored again 4:58 into the second half, assisted by Courtney Clark, and then at 68:15. SVC's Rebecca Sandor chipped a goal past TMC keeper Megan Barton at 79:13 to get the Bearcats on the board, but Laura Felix added an insurance goal for the guests in the 87th minute to send the teams to a 4-1 final.

Thomas More out-shot SVC, 34-3, on the afternoon, including 23-1 in the second half. The Saints also attempted six corner kicks to SVC's one.

Sandor, Amie Dobracki and Ally Panzella attempted SVC's shots in the game.

Senior goalkeeper Cassie Overly allowed three goals in 69:15 while making eight saves. Junior Kelsey Farrand played the final 20:45 and made three saves and allowed a goal.

SVC returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 19, hosting Thiel on Senior Day on the SVC Turf at 1 p.m.
