The Saint Vincent Bearcats lost to Washington & Jefferson by a score of 42-7 at Chuck Noll Field.

With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the Presidents Athletic Conference, while Washington and Jefferson improves to 6-2 overall and 5-1 in the PAC.
After both teams traded punts on their first possessions, W&J got on the board with 5:05 left to play in the first quarter when Dion Weigand ran for a one-yard touchdown to put the visitors up early, 7-0.

They would extend their lead to 14-0 early in the second, finishing a 16-play 85-yard drive with a 19-yard Mat Bliss touchdown to Dan Lucas.

SVC's next drive would end after just one play, W&J recovered a fumble leaving them at the Bearcat 31. Four plays later, Weigand would rush for another one-yard touchdown, giving the Presidents the 21-0 lead.

W&J would add another touchdown right before halftime on a 75-yard touchdown pass from Bliss to Weigand, upping the score to 28-0.

The Presidents started off the second half with another touchdown, this time going eight plays and 73-yards finishing with a Weigand 15-yard run, putting the President' on top 35-0.

The ensuing drive for SVC showed promise, starting at its own 18-yard line, and highlighted by a 20-yard pass from
Andy Borgen to
Matt Duffey. The Bearcats would drive all the way down to the W&J 21-yard line. However, a fumble on fourth down would give the visitors the ball.

With the score 35-0 at the end of three quarters, W&J would tack on another touchdown, this time a 7-yard rush by Ryan Ruffing, making the score 42-0.

At the 11:04 mark of the fourth,
Manuel Brown put the Bearcats on the board with a 6-yard touchdown run, his first career score.
The score would rest at 42-7.

For the Bearcats,
Andy Borgen went 12-22 for 104 yards passing.
Ryan Crawford had seven carries for 37 yards while Brown had six rushes for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Alex Charles led the receivers with six catches for 49 yards while Duffey hauled in four passes for 38 yards.
Defensively,
Nick Revis led all players with 12 tackles (0.5 Tackle For Loss). Mitch DePellegrini added nine tackles (2 TFL) and forced and recovered a fumble.
Andrew Geisler tallied eight tackles with five TFL (1 Sack).
