Dickinson shuts down SVC offense

After scoring five goals in the season opener against Penn State-Altoona, the Saint Vincent women's soccer team was held to just two shots against a tough squad from Dickinson College, losing by a score of 4-0.

SVC was outshot on the day by a 34-2 margin, managing just one shot in the first half and one in the second. 

Cassie Overly started in the net and took the loss, working the first 45 minutes and making three saves.  Kelsey Farrand played a strong second half in the net, making 11 saves.  Each keeper gave up two goals.

SVC is now 1-1 on the season and will return to action on Friday at Pitt-Bradford.
