HUNTINGDON, Pa. (Sept. 19) - The Saint Vincent women's soccer team saw its three-game winning streak snapped with a 2-0 loss at Juniata in non-conference action.
With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 4-3 on the season, with all three losses coming via shutout. The Eagles remains unbeaten, improving to 6-0 this year.
The hosts struck just 12:51 into the game, when Michaela Lacek scored her fourth goal of the season. Five-plus minutes into the second half, Lacek found the back of the net again, giving the hosts the eventual final margin.
For the game, Saint Vincent faced a 19-8 disparity on shots, while Juniata took seven corner kicks to SVC's one.

Abbey Neish led Saint Vincent with two shots apiece, with both of Sandor's shots being on goal.

Cassie Overly was strong in goal, making 11 saves while playing all 90 minutes.
SVC returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 24, traveling to Route 30 rival Pitt-Greensburg for a 3 p.m. match.
