The Saint Vincent women's golf team challenged the Grove City Wolverines in a team match at the Grove City Country Club and emerged with a four-stroke win, 389-393.

Sarah Rebitch, the reigning PAC Player Of The Week, led the way for SVC with a 91 (48-43), while Danielle Brnilovich shot 95 (50-45).

Also competing for the Bearcats were Samantha Firestone (101),  Jayna Cline (102) and Elizabeth Loftus (104).

Grove City's Esther Durling was the top individual on the day, shooting a solid 80 (39-41).

The Bearcats will next be in action on Monday and Tuesday, September 30 and October 1, in the Fall Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships.  The PAC title is determined a four-round event, two rounds each in the fall and spring.  Next week's rounds will take place at the Oak Tree Country Club.
