The Westminster Titans defeated the Saint Vincent women's soccer team by a score of 2-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play on Senior Day in Latrobe.

The visitors (10-2-1 overall) improved to 3-0 in the PAC, while the Bearcats fell to 1-11 (1-2 PAC).  

Westminster was dominant from the start, outshooting SVC 10-3 in the opening half.  The lone goal of the first half came in the 13th minute, when Anna Iraola gained possession inside the 6-yard box and sent a pass to Krysten Opsatnik whose shot was partially blocked by SVC keeper Meghan Lyden.  However, the ball spun and rolled just over the goal line, giving the Titans a 1-0 lead.

The second half was played more evenly, with WC holding a 5-3 advantage in shot.  In the 72nd minute, Melissa Thomas scored off a rebound for the insurance goal.

The Bearcats are back in action on Tuesday, October 14 at 4PM, facing #10-ranked Thomas More College on the road in Crestview Hills, KY.
