Women's soccer drops match to Pitt-Bradford

LATROBE, Pa. (Sept. 5) - The Saint Vincent College women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at home to Pitt-Bradford. The loss drops the Bearcats to 0-3 overall for the season.

The Panthers got on the board first with an unassisted goal from Abby Celesky in the 16th minute. Pitt-Bradford added a pair of goals to build on the early lead and pull away for the victory. Saint Vincent was out-shot by a 22-to-9 margin in the loss. Sophomore goalkeeper Meghan Lyden recorded 11 saves for Saint Vincent.

The Bearcats return to action on Sunday, Sept. 7, when they host Franciscan University. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
