The Grove City Wolverines defeated the Bearcat men's soccer team by a score of 6-0 on the SVC Turf.

The visitors got on the board in the 11th minute, when Dale Reese launched a shot from 25 yards out that sailed into the upper left corner of the net.  In the 20th minute, Stephen Betteridge sent a pass into the box, that was one-touched by Franklin Tropiano, then placed into the net by Reese for his second goal of the game.

Up 2-0, Grove City added to its lead with just 12 ticks left in the first half when Justin Lind scored off a pass from Peter Tobias.

The Wolverines scored again in the 72nd minute, then added a pair of late penalty kicks to end the scoring.  

Grove City posted 26 shots, 11 on net, compared to just 6 for the Bearcats.  Three SVC shots were on goal.

The visitors are now 11-3-1 on the season, while Saint Vincent is now 2-12.
