Saint Vincent finishes the season with an overall record of 2-8, 1-7 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Â For the Bison, it was also their second win in 10 games, allowing them to finish with a 2-6 conference mark.
The game was controlled by the defense on both sides of the field throughout the first quarter, with the first six drives of the game ending in punts. Â Late in the first, the visitors started a drive on their own 32, later driving to the Saint Vincent 2-yard line on a 36-yard pass from Chase Kinemond to Shaq Ellis. Â On the first play of the second quarter, Raekon Wright leapt over the goal line from one yard out, and a Chris Ray point after gave the Bison a 7-0 lead.
SVC was forced to punt once again on its next drive, and
Christian Witchey dropped the ball on the Bison 2-yard line.  The SVC defense held Bethany on three plays, and a short punt resulted in a fair catch at the Bethany 41.  SVC moved the ball to the Bethany 24, but a
Sam Elliott 41-yard field goal attempt just missed to the left, keeping the score 7-0.
Five plays later, Kinemond completed a 62-yard pass to Darius Taylor for a score, doubling the lead to 14-0.
A slip by the kicker resulted in a short kickoff being fielded by
Ethan Shipley and returned to the 47, and a 15-yard face masking penalty put the ball at the Bethany 38 to start the drive for the Bearcats. Â
Jhanard Dorsett ran for 15 yards on the first play from scrimmage, then
Michael Navarro hit
Damon Black Jr with a 15 yard pass, moving the ball into the red zone. Â Three plays later, Navarro found
Dalton Dietrich in the back of the end zone for an 8-yard touchdown pass. Â The Elliott point after made it a 14-7 game.
However, the Bison put together an 8-play, 53 yard scoring drive, culminating in a Kinemond pass to Abe Lyles for a 12-yard touchdown with just 9 seconds left in the first half, giving Bethany a 21-7 advantage.
Aaron Austin took over at quarterback to start the second half for SVC, moving the ball to the Bison 21. Â On fourth down and four, Navarro came back into the game and hit Dietrich with a 15-yard pass to keep the drive alive. Â Navarro then ran a keeper into the end zone from the 4-yard line, making it a 21-14 game.
Midway through the third, the Bison threatened after a Bearcat fumble, but
Jean Cherilus intercepted a Kinemond pass in the end zone.
Later in the third, the Bison took over at their own 37 following a Saint Vincent punt, running the ball on 7 straight plays and taking advantage of a Bearcat personal foul, moving the ball to the 20 yard line on the final play of the quarter.
On the first play of the 4th, Kinemond and Taylor again teamed up for a scoring pass, giving the visitors a 28-14 lead.
Saint Vincent came right back on the next drive, with Austin connecting with

Once again, the Bison drove downfield, scoring on a 7-play, 62-yard drive, with Wright breaking clear for a 19-yard scoring run to take a 34-21 lead. Â On the point after attempt,
Connor Locklin blocked the kick, then Black scooped it up and took it all the way for a Bearcat 2-point play, cutting the deficit to eleven, 34-23.
However, the Bearcats were unable to score the rest of the way, as Bethany held on for the victory.
