The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats defeated the SVC women's soccer team by a score of 5-1 in a non-conference game held on the SVC Turf.
UPG held the advantage throughout much of the first half, keeping in the ball in the Bearcat defensive end through much of the first 30 minutes.

In the 23rd minute, Bri Burgunder took a shot that was blocked by the Bearcat defense, but the rebound came right back to her foot, and she connected on a scoring shot to make it 1-0.

SVC gained some momentum in the final 15 minutes of the half, evening the shots at 8-8, but the Bearcats were unable to score.

Burgunder added a second unassisted goal early in the second half.

With 16 minutes remaining in the second half, the Bobcats added a third goal, as Allie Grimm took a pass from Camille Hickman and beat the keeper with a shot to the lower left corner of the net.

Later, with just over four minutes remaining, a handball was called inside the 18-yard box on the Bobcats, giving SVC a penalty kick.Â
Calsey Holshue's shot was deflected by UPG keeper Shannon Edwards, but carried into the net for a Bearcat goal.

In the final 1:05, UPG added two goals on breakaways, securing the 5-1 victory.
