SVC drops road PAC match


The Saint Vincent women's volleyball team faced Geneva College in a road Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup. The Golden Tornadoes defeated the Bearcats, 3-0.

Geneva scored early and often with the first goal coming in the fifth minute. The Golden Tornadoes scored another goal in the 24th and the final goal in the 26th minute. Geneva held the 3-0 till the half.

In second half, Geneva controlled the ball and closed out the game, 3-0. The Golden Tornadoes tallied 27 shots to the eight for the Bearcats.

Abigail Johnson started in net for Saint Vincent as she made 14 saves in the 90 minutes of action.

Saint Vincent is now 1-11, 1-3 in the PAC, as the team hosts Waynesburg University on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Start time is 4 p.m.
