The Saint Vincent Bearcat swim teams traveled to Division-II Indiana University of Pennsylvania for their second non-conference meet this week. The women were defeated 133-70, and the men lost by a score of 108.5-89.5.
The Bearcat women are now 2-2 overall, while the men fall to 1-3.

The women's only victory came in the final event, the 200 Freestyle Relay, where
Marion D'Aurora,
Cara Luallen,
Katie Kozy, and
Erica Steele finished at 1:43.82.

The men did not fare much better, though the quartet of
Kris Smith,
John Martin,
Zach Baum, and
Ethan Yant won the 200 Medley Relay, finishing with a 1:40.74. In the 200 Freestyle Relay,
Kevin Martin,
Danny Whirlow, J. Martin, and Yant claimed victory with a time of 1:31.66.

The only individual win went to
Zach Baum in the 200 IM. His time was 2:02.70.

The Bearcats' next competition will be their second conference meet of the season. It will be at home against Grove City College on Saturday, November 9
th, beginning at 1 p.m.
