The Saint Vincent College men's lacrosse team won its third contest in a row. The Bearcats defeated Hood College, 12-9.

In the opening period, the Blazers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 7:01 of the game. At the 6:33 mark,
Tyler Condrasky scored the first SVC goal. Condrasky followed with another goal over a 1:30 later. Condrasky completed the hat trick as he netted a pass from
Matthew Cassidy.

Hood increased its lead back to three goals with 52 seconds left in the first but there was still time for the Bearcats. 22 seconds later,
Jacob Visalli scored off a pass from Condrasky to keep SVC within two (6-4) as the game headed to the second.

The Bearcats scored the first goal in the second as
Zach Novelli scored with an assist from
Alec Richard. The Blazers responded with a goal at the 8:07 mark in the period to back up by two.
Caleb Hawkins then scored his first goal of the game to make the deficit one (7-6) as the game headed to halftime.

Jordan Billet tied the game at seven just 2:02 into the second half with a helper from Condrasky. Hood responded by taking the lead almost four minutes later, but Saint Vincent went on a run. Cassidy scored his first goal of the game with 3:24 left in the third before Novelli netted a man-up goal to give SVC its first lead of the contest. Billet scored his second of the game with 18 seconds left in the period to make the score, 10-8.

The Blazers pulled within one with 9:36 to go in regulation but the visitors did not get a shot on goal of the remainder of the game. Condrasky and Visalli each scored in the final 3:14 of the fourth to seal the three-goal win.

Condrasky led the team with five points (4G, 1A) in the game while Billet, Novelli and Visalli each scored two goals.
Brandon Martin picked up the win in net as he played the full 60 minutes allowing the nine goals and making 11 saves.

Saint Vincent (3-1) travels to Medaille College on Saturday, March 14 for its next contest. Start time is 12 p.m.
