NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Saint Vincent men's soccer team was defeated 6-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at Westminster College.
The Titans scored twice in the opening 21 minutes of the second half, before out-scoring SVC 4-1 over the final 45 minutes.
David Rahaman scored the Bearcats' lone goal of the season, with his team-leading fifth strike of the season coming 10 minutes into the second half.
The Titans out-shot the Bearcats 20-8 on the afternoon. Rahaman,
Erwin Suarez and
Andres Mateos Carrion each had two shots to lead Saint Vincent, while
Shane Piper made six saves in goal.
Saint Vincent will now close out the 2021 regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 27, with a 7 p.m. PAC match at Grove City College.
