The Saint Vincent men's soccer team traveled to Bethany, West Virginia to face the Bethany Bison in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup. A late goal pushed the Bearcats past the Bison, 1-0.
The first half was an even match as Saint Vincent (3-2, 3-1) out shot Bethany (1-2-1, 1-2-1) 7-3. The Bison made three saves and had three corners while the Bearcats had one save and two corners.
The story was the same in the second half for the first 39 minutes until

Joel Quiroz Mansilla to give SVC a 1-0 lead. Bethany threatened late but
Shane Piper made a save to preserve the win.
Piper finished the game with four saves while the Bison finished with four saves as well.
Saint Vincent welcomes Geneva College on Wednesday, April 7 for a PAC contest. Start time is 1 p.m.
