Women's Results
The Saint Vincent College cross country teams took part in the Bethany Invitational. The men's squad claimed another team win as the women finished fifth out of the seven teams.
For the men, the harriers were paced once again by
Tim Patterson. Patterson won the race with a time of 16:05, 14 seconds ahead of his counterpart
Frankie King who placed second.
John Hurley claimed fourth, crossing the line in 16:25 while
Steve Patterson gave SVC its fourth runner in the top six with a time of 16:39. Franciscan finished second overall followed by Geneva, Washington & Jefferson and Waynesburg to complete the top five.
Laura Aston paced the Bearcats, finishing fifth overall with a time of 20:07.
Sydney Green was the next SVC runner to cross the finish in 20:57, good enough for 13th.Â
Alissa Beam (24th) and
Jessica Gibson (33rd) were the next two runners to stop the clock at 22:28 and 24:18, respectively.
Both teams will prepare for the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, March 20. The event will be hosted at Bethany College.
