Half number two started with both teams vying for control in their respective offensive zones, as Waynesburg opened scoring within the first minute. The Bearcats responded five minutes later with a goal by
Tanisha Grewal. The game was locked at one less than halfway through the second half.

Waynesburg tallied a goal at the 70 minute mark, securing the 2-1 victory over the Bearcats.
