The Saint Vincent women's soccer team played host to Grove City College at UPMC Field on senior day. The Wolverines won the match by a score of 6-0.

Grove City started the match off quickly, scoring a little over five minutes into the game, giving them a 1-0 lead. The score remained the same for the next 15 minutes.

The Wolverines kept the pressure on and kept the ball in their offensive zone for most of the first half. Grove City scored again at the 22:05 mark of the first half, increasing their lead to 2-0.

It wasn't long after their second goal that they netted another goal. This goal came at the 23:36 mark, just a little over a minute after their second, increasing their lead to 3-0. Grove City would take the 3-0 lead into halftime.

The second half was much of the same story. The Wolverines scored about 13 minutes into the second half, making the lead 4-0. Then they added two more goals within 25 seconds of each other, making the score 6-0.

The Bearcats had a couple opportunities to score in the game, but none found the back of the net, giving Grove City the win 6-0.

Abigail Johnson made eight saves in the loss for the Bearcats.
Tanisha Grewal had two shots as well.

The Bearcats will travel to Thiel College and take on the Tomcats in the regular season finale on Thursday, April 22. Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
