Â
SVC went into halftime tied with the Tomcats 1-1.
Â
In the second half, it was an even battle between Thiel and Saint Vincent, until the 68th minute when

Frank Singer.
Â
Both teams had several opportunities to score late but both goalies,
Shane Piper and Devin Weisbarth, denied the chances. SVC stood its ground and held on for the 2-1 victory.
