The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team welcomed Thiel College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup on senior day. The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 13-4.
Jacob Visalli scored the first goals of the game with assists from
Matthew Cassidy.
Tyler Condrasky then scored a goal while Saint Vincent (8-3, 3-2) was a man-down, leading 3-0 going to the second period.
Jordan Billet then scored consecutive goals with helpers from
Zack Novelli and Condrasky. Trailing 5-0, Thiel (3-6, 1-4) scored its first goal as the score remained 5-1 at the half.
In the third period, Condrasky, Billet and Hawkins found the back of the net to hold a 8-1 lead. The Tomcats added a goal before the end of the period as SVC led by six (8-2).
Visalli, Billet and
Max Schuler scored in the fourth as the Bearcats held a 12-2 advantage. Thiel scored two more goals before
Andrew Coholich tallied the final goal of the game.
Billet and Visalli scored four goals while eight different Bearcats recorded a point.
Caleb Bouch started in the net and made six saves in the win.
Saint Vincent travels to Bethany, W.Va. for a conference battle with the Bison on Wednesday, April 28th. Start time is 5 p.m.
