The Saint Vincent men's bowling team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2022-23 schedule with a fifth place finish among 15 teams in an Ohio Bowling Conference tournament held in Columbus.

The Bearcats opened the day with a strong first game, with a team score of 1039.  Garrett Contee led the way with a 245 game, while Alex Vickers finished at 219 and Brandon Dunmire shot a 215 game.

The team struggled in games two through four, with Eddie Zuzak (215, game two) the only Bearcat to break the 200 barrier.

In game five, SVC ended the traditional game portion of the day strong, with Dunmire (221), Ethan Dutka (212) and James Gatto (211) leading the way.  The team had dropped as low as seventh in the standings, but rebounded to finish 6th after traditional play.

Twelve Baker team games concluded the day, and SVC averaged just over 200 for the session, jumping to fifth place.  Zuzak led the way in Baker play with a 233 average.

Up next for Saint Vincent will be a Christmas break trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete in a pair of Tier 1 US Bowling Congress events at South Point, December 18-19 and December 20-21.
