The SVC men's bowling team finished 4th among 13 teams in the Ohio Bowling Conference tournament held at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl in Central Ohio.

The Bearcats sat fifth after four rounds of traditional games, then improved their position through four 4-game Baker blocks.

Saint Vincent posted team scores of 983, 947, 892 and 994 in four traditional games. In game one, freshman
Brandon Dunmire led the way with a 228 game, while
Eddie Zuzak shot a 215 and
Michael Fekete added a 205.Â
In the second game, it was again Dunmire posting the top score, with a 244.Â
Garrett Contee added a 204. The team battled changing lane conditions in the third game, as Contee's 186 was the top score.

The final game was the team's best of the afternoon, as Zuzak (227), Fekete (205) and
Josh Marks (201) all topped the 200 mark.

The team's first Baker game of the second session was a 229, which would prove to be their best of the session. The Bearcats broke the 200 mark in six of 16 games.

Dunmire was named to the All-Tournament team, finishing 6th overall in the field of 121 bowlers with a four-game average of 208. Zuzak was 11th (203.2). In Baker play, Zuzak led the team with a per-frame average of 20.53, a game equivalent of 205.3. Marks was second at 20.06 while Fekete averaged 18.45.Â

The team will be back in action on Saturday, February 19 in the Cavalier Classic, hosted by Walsh University. It will be the team's last opportunity to earn points and possibly receive an invitation to the USBC's postseason, the Intercollegiate Team Championship.
