LOUISVILLE INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
The SVC men's bowling team competed in a pair of events on the road, traveling to Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky.
In Columbus, SVC finished fifth among 14 teams in an Ohio Bowling Conference event, while in Louisville, the Bearcats were 14th among a tough field of 25 teams.
In the OBC tournament,
James Gatto finished 10th among the field of 129 competitors, shooting 1082 over five games for an average of 216.4. He posted games of 246, 242 and 238.Â
Alex Vickers appeared in three games, shooting 201-227-219 for a 215.6 average. Â
In Baker team games, the Bearcats averaged 198.5 over 12 games, with a high game of 233.
At the Thomas Burris Memorial in Louisville,
Brandon Dunmire led the way with a 208.2 average over five games, which placed him 41st among 206 bowlers. Dummire's top score for the day was a 239. Gatto threw three games over 200 on the afternoon, while
Michael Fekete added a 233 and
Eddie Zuzak shot a 232.
After five traditional games, the Bearcats then bowled 12 Baker team games, opening with games of 213, 268, 247 and 192, a block total of 920 (230 average), good for a modern-day school record. For the 12 games, SVC averaged 206.1. Â
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, February 4, traveling to Coschocton, Ohio for the Muskie Mash, hosted by Muskingum University.
