GROVE CITY, Pa. (Oct. 21) – Grove City, ranked 22nd in the latest D3Football.com national poll, improved to 8-0 with a 49-0 win over Saint Vincent in a Presidents' Athletic Conference football matchup at Robert E. Thorn Field.
After taking a 7-0 lead late in the first quarter, Grove City (8-0, 8-0 PAC) scored two touchdowns in each of the final three quarters to pull away and extend its winning streak over Saint Vincent (2-5, 2-5 PAC) to seven games.
The stout Grove City defense limited the Bearcats to just 139 in total offense, including -13 rushing yards, while recording seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss. The Wolverines amassed 482 yards of total offense on the day.

Austin Slye completed 14 of 24 passes for 152 yards. Freshman receiver
Austin Wells was Slye's favorite target on the day, as the rookie turned in a career game with nine catches for 111 yards.
Defensively, junior linebacker

Alex St. Julien continued his strong play, tallying six tackles (five solo), forcing a fumble and defending a pass. Sophomore safety
Kyle Murray had six tackles and recovered a fumble, while freshman corner
Devon Dean-Coles recorded his first career interception and junior corner
Brian Boyd had two pass breakups.
Nico Flati, the PAC's leading rusher, ran for 144 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries to lead a Grove City ground game that totaled 219 yards. The Wolverines threw for five touchdowns, with three from Logan Pfueffer, who completed 12 of 24 passes for 150 yards. Scott Fraser made eight receptions for 75 yards and two scores.
Saint Vincent will now return home for the first time in three weeks, hosting PAC foe Westminster at Chuck Noll Field on Saturday, Oct. 28. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
