INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
The SVC men's bowling team ended the fall semester with a strong fifth place finish among 18 teams in the third Ohio Bowling Conference tournament of the season.

The team posted a 200.5 average for the afternoon, climbing as high as second before being overtaken in the final Baker team game rounds.

Saint Vincent started slowly, with an 882 team score in the first Traditional game (176.4 average), before breaking the 1000-mark in the next four games:Â 1010, 1024, 1021 and 1063.

Garrett Contee led the way in game one with a 229, while
Brandon Dunmire started game two with 9 consecutive strikes on his way to a 266.Â
James Gatto added a 223. In game three, Gatto and Dunmire again posted the top scores, with Gatto shooting a 256 and Dunmire 226. The fourth game scoresheet was led by
Michael Fekete's 225, one pin ahead of Gatto (224). In the final game,
Alex Vickers continued the balanced SVC attack with a 256, while Dunmire shot 217.

SVC placed two bowlers in the top 10, as Dunmire was 7th with a 1093 total (218.6 average), and Gatto was 9th (1078, 215.6). As a team, SVC finished the five-game block with a total of exactly 5000 pins, an average of 1000 per game, or 200 per bowler.

In Baker team play, SVC increased the team average, finishing the 12-game block with their high of 268, and averaging 201.6.

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, January 13 with their lone home event of the year, the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic, which will be held at Hillview Lanes in Greensburg. A total of 30 teams have been entered in this year's tournament.
