LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 30) – The Saint Vincent men's soccer team concluded the 2024 season with a 4-0 loss to Allegheny College under the UPMC Field lights.
In an evenly played first half, Saint Vincent goalkeeper
Grant Archuleta recorded three saves to keep it scoreless at the intermission.
The Gators would then break the game open with four goals in a 12-minute span early on in the second half, with all four tallies scored by Brady Napoleon.
Led by Napoleon's effort, the Gators outshot the Bearcats 12-2 in the second half, and finished with a 19-5 margin in shots for the game. Allegheny also took five of the game's eight corner kicks.
Archuleta ended the evening with five saves in 72 minutes of play, before giving way to
Theodor Eckbo, who stopped both shots that he faced over the game's final 18 minutes in his collegiate debut.
