INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
The Saint Vincent men's bowling team finished fourth among nine schools in the Muskie Mash, hosted by Muskingum University. SVC finished with an average of 192.8 for the day.
SVC opened the day slowly with a team score of 910 in game one, led by
Michael Fekete's 226 game. The Bearcats then shot a 1048 in game two, an average of 209 per bowler. Fekete (245),
James Gatto (238) and
Ryan Schuck (200) had the top scores.
In games three through five, the Bearcats were consistent, putting up team scores of 961, 963 and 976.
Garrett Contee's 203 was tops in game three, while Gatto shot a 234 in the next game.
Brandon Dunmire (226) and Gatto (205) topped the 200 mark in the final traditional game.
For the varsity, Fekete led the team individually with a 208.4 average, good eighth overall for while Gatto was 13th with a 204.8. Dunmire averaged 199 and finished 15th.
The JV squad was led by
Dominick Spence, who earned top JV tournament honors for the second week in a row. With a high game of 235, Spence averaged 205.8 and was 11
th overall, including all varsity bowlers. He was joined on the JV All Tournament Team by
Alex Colecchia, who had a consistent day with all five games between 176 and 195, averaging 183.4.
Saint Vincent will have a weekend off before heading to Columbus for the Ohio Bowling Conference Championships on February 17 at the Palace bowling center.
