INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
The Saint Vincent men's bowling team opened the 2025-26 season with the first of four Ohio Bowling Conference events in Columbus, Ohio.

SVC struggled early in the day, finding themselves in tenth place among 20 teams after three Traditional games. The Bearcats finished strong, posting the fourth best team score in 12 Baker team games, boosting the program to a seventh place overall finish. SVC averaged 180 in Traditional play and 199.5 in Bakers, for an overall average of 188 for the afternoon.

In the first traditional game, senior
James Gatto had the top score, shooting 195 as SVC tallied 896 pins as a group (179.2 average). Senior
Dominick Spence added a 189. Â In game two, freshman
Nick Hepler led the way with a 235 game, followed by Gatto's 184.Â
Things started to come together for the team in the third Traditional game , as the Bearcats posted a team score of 968 (193.6 average). Junior
Ryan Schuck had the top score with a 216, while sophomore Mike Mullaney added a 197 and Hepler added a 186.
The day concluded with 12 Baker team games. After a 168 to start the first block, the team rebounded with games of 200, 204 and 205 to end block #1. In the second block, the Bearcats finished strong with games of 236 and 231. To end the day, the team posted a 234 in the 12th game.

Individually in Traditional games, Hepler led the Bearcats with a three-game total of 618, good for ninth place among 105 bowlers. In Baker play, Mullaney led the team with an average of 224.1, followed by Gatto (206.4) and Spence (202.7). Overall for the day, Mullaney had the top average at 200.8.

The Bearcats head to Canton, Michigan next weekend for a pair of tournaments starting at 8AM each day.Â
