LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 18)- The Saint Vincent men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Westminster on senior night at UPMC Field on Saturday night.
The Bearcats (10-2-4, 4-1-3 PAC) controlled the pace of play for the majority of the game, but were unable to find the back of the net against the Titans (1-10-4, 1-4-3 PAC).
Kameron Rock recorded the shutout in net for the Bearcats, making two saves in the draw. SVC totaled just three shots on goal, with
Cameron Mulvanny,
Jalani Campbell, and
Jayden Gyan recording the shots for Saint Vincent.
Over the course of the game, SVC outshot the Titans by a wide 21-3 margin, including 3-2 in shots on goal. Corner kicks were 9-1 in favor of the Bearcats, including a couple of late corner kick opportunities in the second half.
Fouls were 13-4 with Westminster totaling the 13.
Saint Vincent honored their 10 seniors prior to the game.
SVC will return to action on Wednesday, October 22 as they travel to take on Grove City in an important PAC contest. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
