The Saint Vincent College men's bowling team made the trip to Canton, Michigan for a pair of tournaments. The team placed 12th out of 20 schools at the American Heartland Bowling Association #1, then finished 7th out of 18 schools in the AHBA #2.

The format for day one was six traditional team games, with total pinfall to determine the winner.

Leading the way for the Bearcats was sophomore
Michael Mullaney who placed 5th overall shooting 1,285 (214 average) for six games, earning All Tournament Team status. Senior
James Gatto placed 23rd overall shooting 1,198 pins (199.6 average). Mullaney's total established a new school record for a six game series.

The high mark of the tournament was the Bearcats shooting a 991 game 5, led by Mullaney with a 229 game, with senior
Dominick Spence adding a 220.

The format for the day two was three Traditional games and 15 Baker team games, with total pinfall to determine the winner. Leading the way again for SVC was Mullaney who placed 13th overall shooting 630 pins (210 average), followed by Gatto's 607 (203 average), which placed him 29th overall.

In game two of the tournament, the Bearcats shot 1,019 with junior
Ryan Schuck leading with 220. Gatto added a 218 game, sophomore
Michael Marts 206, Mullaney 205, and Spence rounding it out at 170.

On the JV side SVC finished in 12th place with 4,979 pins. They were led by freshman
Cort Hetrick who finished in 34th place with a set of 534. Sophomore
Josh Cooley had the high game of the tournament for the Bearcats with a 211.

The Bearcats will be back in action on November 8, as they travel to the Nittany Lion Cup, in Sinking Springs, PA, as well as the Black and Gold Classic the following day in Lancaster, PA.
