LATROBE, Pa. (Nov. 5) – The Saint Vincent College women's soccer team concluded its 2025 season with a 2-0 setback to Waynesburg University in the Presidents Athletic Conference Semifinals on Wednesday night.
Waynesburg used two late second half goals to earn the victory and end the Bearcats season.
Saint Vincent generated several quality scoring chances throughout the contest, including eight shots on goal, but was unable to find the equalizer.
Waynesburg held a 16-12 advantage in total shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. SVC totaled eight shots on goal to the Yellow Jackets six.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Rilyn Warner made four saves in net in the loss for SVC.
Emma Koller generated seven shots, including four shots on goal for Saint Vincent.
Addie Fisher added two shots on goal, while
Emily Ambrose and
Madisen Geesaman both recorded one shot on goal each.
With the loss, Saint Vincent ends the 2025 campaign with a program record 15 wins, including eight wins in PAC play.
